The BC School Counsellors Association (BCSCA) supports the work of BC’s most accessible mental health professionals who serve children and youth. School Counsellors support students’ success and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and benefit families by providing services free of charge from within the school system.

Since School Counsellors are both master’s-level mental health professionals and certified teachers, they require high-quality, ongoing professional development. Each year, the Annual BCSCA Conference brings together hundreds of School Counsellors both in-person and online. This event is organized by an all-volunteer executive and it is the cornerstone of our efforts to promote professional development, advance advocacy for school mental health, and support the wellbeing of school counsellors and students. Your sponsorship could enhance this work by helping us provide high-quality workshops and keynote speakers and ensure School Counsellors have the resources they need to serve students effectively.

What do sponsors gain?

Sponsors gain visibility and connection with a highly-engaged audience of mental health professionals and educators. Depending on your level of support, benefits range from recognition in our quarterly newsletter (“The Catalyst”), public recognition at professional development sessions, logo placement on conference materials and/or website, priority exhibition table and/or banner placement at the conference, complimentary conference registrations, and more. Whether your contribution is $100, $1,000, or $10,000, your partnership demonstrates a commitment to promoting the mental health of young people across the province.
