Intervision groups are officially up and running! Please register for one or both rooms so that you get the Zoom details that way (and so we know approximately how many people to expect). Neither day/time is restricted to just school counsellors; feel free to sign up for whichever one works better for you and also please know that registration does not equal obligation. If you register for a session and then end up not being able to make it, that's okay. Feel free to share this email with other teachers and school counsellors.Â
The first option for these groups is 6:30 - 8:00 pm on the second Monday of the month until June of 2026. Please register at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/QEmlZOl4SsSZqOquN7uktQ.
The second option for these groups is 7:30 - 9 am on the first Friday of each month until June. Please register at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/K2diOdI_QjicE4jx9c-oEw.
Both invitations are open to all teachers with the option for school counsellors to be placed in triads with other school counsellors if that is preferred (that is easy to work out in the groups once we see who is there). As this is new, we are trying to balance providing enough information that people are comfortable trying the process with focusing the majority of time on the groups themselves. To help with this, there are two versions of a booklet to provide an overview of how these groups could go (i.e., there is always some flexibility); the large version is meant to be printed double-sided on 11.5x17" paper to make a booklet with the fold on top, the smaller one can be printed on plain old 8.5x11' paper. Please email Shirley Giroux (shirley.giroux@alumni.unbc.ca) if you have any questions or would like to chat.Â
