Benefits of Membership

The BCSCA is made up of counselling and teaching professionals across British Columbia who share a common goal: supporting students and their families in schools. We provide connection, support, advocacy, and professional development for our members. Members of the BCSCA have access to the following:

  • BC Counsellor Magazine – published twice a year (March & September). Available in paper copy and in digital format.

  • Catalyst Newsletter – delivered by email four times a year (January, March, May, and October).

  • The BCSCA Listserve - a place for members to share information and to inquire and consult with your school counselling colleagues from around the province.

  • Professional Development – including our annual hybrid conference (in-person or online), free webinars throughout the year, and the bonus of next year’s membership included with your conference registration.

  • Networking & Advocacy – connect with counsellors across the province and receive support from our Executive team.
