Hi Dave,
Attached is the official
memo on provincial exams for admission purposes to UNBC. Currently the
information is not on our website because we need to have the Senate approve
the new policies around a student who writes the provincial exam and then wants
to use the mark obtained before the exam was written.
Please feel free to post
this memo on the counsellor list and I will keep you updated with any websites
are new information.

provide me with an official statement regarding prov exams…and UNBC….and if
possible the URL that states UNBC’s policy regarding prov exams….

Hi Dave,
I am not sure if you heard the news out of UNBC today, but we are
no longer requiring provincial exams to be written for the majority of our
programs. We still require them for entrance into Engineering as it is a joint
program with UBC in Vancouver.
We will be sending out an official statement explaining the new
format and we will always try and use a student's best academic average for
admission purposes.
