Please see statement below. ___________________________________ British Columbia High School Applicants Admission of BC high school students to most undergraduate programs at Carleton University is based on an average of the results of six academic courses. Four of the courses presented for admission must be at the Grade 12 level and two at either the grade 11 or 12 level. All prerequisites must be at the grade 12 level. Given that BC students are no longer required to write most provincial examinations, Carleton University does not require BC applicants to write them. In cases where BC students choose to write the provincial exam, the final examination result as well as the school grades will be taken into consideration. Where students opt not to write the provincial exam in a subject, the school grade alone will be taken into account. In all cases, students are expected to disclose fully all academic studies and results. ___________________________________ Regards, Jen __________________________ Jen Sugar, M.A. Assistant Director Admissions Services 315 E Robertson Hall Carleton University 1125 Colonel By Drive Ottawa, ON K1S 5B6 Phone: (613) 520-2600 ext. 6664 Fax: (613) 520-3517
