Hello from the "Other Coast"

Provinical Exams and Admissions
As you MAY or MAY NOT be aware, the B.C. Provincial government (Ministry of Education) has designated all grade 12 Provincial exams, with the exception of Language Arts 12 and BC First Nations Studies, as OPTIONAL. It is the student's decision, not the schools, to write the optional Provincial exams.

Check out the list of institutions--a"Work in Progress", with a particular institution's postion/policy regarding admissions and the optional grade 12 provincial exams.

We would appreciate if you and your institutions would provide a statement--in the form of an URL or email from an Admissions staff person--clarifying the positon/policy regarding BC Provinical Exams and Admission to your institution.

Please visit http://www.bctf.bc.ca/psas/BCSCA/prov_exams.htm to see the webpage where the information will be posted and the statements/langauage from other universities

As the addmission deadlines are fast approaching, students and counsellors are very "excited" to see this information posted--so your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated

Please visit our conference home page and corresponding links to find out more about being involved in the conference

If you have any questions, please drop me an email
