As a part of the work the BCSCA executive did, prior to the conference, we collected some basic information our members who were planning to attend the AGENTS OF CHANGE Conference in October of 2008. We would like to share some of that data, to begin to "paint" a picture a BC School Counsellor.

This data represents approximately 350 BCTF members who attended the conference, but only represents approximately 1200 full and part time school counsellors in BC. According the most recent information release in Ministry of Education budget reports, there are approximately 915 FTE school counsellors in BC.
